Scott Marr begins his eleventh season as UAlbany's head coach. Marr led UAlbany to appearances in the America East Conference championship game 8 of the 10 seasons. The Great Danes have produced many pro players including 10 currently playing.
Donny Shea has worked with the UAlbany lacrosse program as a volunteer assistant since 2000. He previously was an assistant coach at Butler University for four seasons. Donny was an All-American goalie at Herkimer. He then moved on to be the 2 year starting goalie at Butler University.
Bill Ralph is currently In his 3rd season as an Assistant Coach with UAlbany Great Danes. He brings with him a wealth of lacrosse knowledge particularly on the defensive side of the ball. He comes from a strong history of lacrosse. Starting at Yorktown High school he was a 3 time All-Section, 2 time All-American Defenseman and Team Captain. He helped Yorktown win its first Class A State Title.
Eric Wolf joins the Top Dog staff after recently finishing his third season as offensive coordinator and head assistant at Siena College. While at Siena Wolf helped lead the Saints to a 37-16 overall record and 21-1 MAAC record. The Saints captured three regular season MAAC championships and two MAAC tournament championships, earning the program's first two bids to the NCAA Tournament.
Liam Gleason joins the Top Dog staff after spending the past year as the first Head Coach at The College of Saint Rose. Before Saint Rose he was an Assistant and Defensive coordinator at Siena College. While at Siena College he directed a defensive unit that finished among the nation’s (NCAA Division I) top-five teams in goals-against-average throughout each of his three years in Loudonville.
