Eric Wolf was named assistant men's lacrosse coach and member of Scott Marr's staff on October 5, 2011.
Wolf, who spent the last three years as a Siena assistant, was a member of three UAlbany squads that won America East Conference titles and advanced to NCAA post-season play. In 2007, the Great Danes were ranked as high as No. 2 in the USILA national poll and established a school standard for single-season wins with a 15-3 record.
At Siena, Wolf served as offensive coordinator and was in charge of day-to-day recruiting operations. The Saints won their second Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championship and made the program's second NCAA appearance last year. Wolf's offense ranked eighth nationally at 11.44 goals per game and was fourth with a .338 shooting percentage en route to a program-record 13-5 campaign. In his three seasons, the Saints garnered three MAAC regular-season titles and combined for 37 victories.
Wolf is a member of Scott Marr's staff for a second time, as he worked as director of operations during the 2008 season. A four-year letterwinner for the Great Danes, he played in 62 career games, primarily as a midfielder. Wolf, who hails from Baldwin, N.Y., received a B.A. in sociology with a minor in education.
